Margaret Finley, 80, of Keaau died Oct. 28 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Long Beach, Calif., she was a family matriarch. No services. Survived by husband, Jeffrey C. James “Jim” Paul Gerke, born Paul James Gerke, 89, of Keaau died Aug. 21. Judith Yuk Quon Kawakami, 83, of Mountain View died Sept. 8 at home. Born in Honolulu, she was a secretary for the former Sears store on Oahu. Private services held. Fred Lonoikamakahiki Leslie, Sr., 81, of Hilo passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Oct. 14. Born in Kona, he was a retired plumber at the former Hilo Medical Center and veteran of the U.S. Army.
